It snowed last night, and it has been snowing all day. It is still snowing! (Except things got to melting around 3PM, and everything is just muddy and gross now. It's dropped back down to below freezing, but I'm thinking we'll have more in the way of ice than snow tomorrow.) My sisters and I played in it outside for so long that I had to take a nap under extra blankets to stop feeling cold after we got in.

Our neighborhood is full of kids, so it was completely surprising that we were just about the only people outside, except for our neighbors. Someone even stopped us and was all like, "Wow, you guys must be the Floridians." Fair enough, but I've lived here eight years, and we've only ever had snow like this two other times. So I think everybody else in this neighborhood is just kind of lame or something.

Anyway, there was sledding and snow fights, and we built a gigantic and awesome snowman and dressed him up like a pirate. (Mostly just because we found a pirate hat left over from Halloween in the garage.) So that was fun!

Kierra also showed me her new Top Model Barbie, and I swear she looks exactly like Phyllis from Young and the Restless. Like, I could stick pins in the doll, and I'm pretty sure Michelle Stafford would feel them. Freaky.
