+ Woooow, HP fandom. You are lame. I just do not even know where to start with regard to your complete and utter lamery. Instead of enjoying your canonical slash, please, continue to bitch about it incoherently like the bitter, paranoid twats you are. You do that. I will be over here having an awesome time reading the CANONICAL SLASH. Awesome times are the point of fandom, no? No? Well, that explains SO MUCH.

+ Avatar tonight was full of FAIL for the first time ever! At least it was unintentionally hilarious, what with all of the SECRET PAIN and emo hair. I will never be able to NOT laugh at Ty Lee ever again. Seriously, WHAT? Everything in this episode was just so random and, like, SO MUCH DRAMA. I do not care about the Fire Nation crew's TEENAGE WASTELAND, sry2say.

+ FNL is surprisingly better when you fast forward everything to do with Tyra/Landry.

+ Rob Thomas very nicely spoke to jujubee for a college project, and she very nicely decided to share the interview. It's very interesting, has some deets on the writer's strike (which I am dreading, although I fully support the writers guild) and some info on where the show would have been going in S4. Must say that the direction for the fourth season leaves me kind of cold, and that actually makes me feel a little better about the cancellation.

2. She didn't write it in into the books and therefore copped out! She has an OBLIGATION to push my agenda and satisfy my entitlement issues!

Plus it's a really cool ship! It reminds me so strongly of Xavier/Magneto! I love all of the issues and the teenagerness and the idea of Dumbledore falling in love with Grindewald while they plot world domination, and it's just awesome!

See, I was expecting this one and dude, no she doesn't. You can say "gosh, I wish JKR would put that in the book" but she has NO OBLIGATION to do so, and duh, when would that have fit?

SINCE WHEN?! How is Dumbledore a fucking stereotype?

Actually, I want to see this fic, either Dumbledore as a young man living up to gay stereotypes of the time or Dumbedore's portrait TOTALLY FLAMING IT UP. Or Dumbledore as a live, flaming guy and McG as his faghag. Because I'm sick like that (and teenytinylittlebit shipped dumbledore/mcg in a sweet sort of way)

This would be a valid criticism, except that IT'S DUMBLEDORE. If the fucking badassest character in the book is gay, I think that takes something away from the dead card. It's not like it was a tragic lesbian death (tm). He DIED TO SAVE THE WORLD. And he came back in a portrait.

It is a really cool ship, and makes what happened later even more tragic. I want to see that fic too, Dumbledore heartbroken about what he has to do to the man he once (still?) loves. Come on fandom, less wanking more writing!

Clive is not nearly as tragic in the book. I mean, his tragedy is implied rather than stated. The ending in the book is way more "Maurice and Alex go off into the greenwood and hopefully avoid WWI". Which is why it's not Forster's best, probably. The movie is one of the few examples where I approve of expanding on the book. :D

But, wow, if that made you sad then you should probably never watch Brideshead Revisited.

All I've seen is the ONTD post and there wasn't too much douchebaggery (besides the normal amount) and I think this is the second post on my flist where people are talking about the fandom exploding. WORST episode ever. It was completely random. There was like NO BoomerAang Gang. Tragic.
