I APPROVE THIS POST
So I didn't watch Buffy or Firefly, but this is the most awesome post about the Democratic primary that has ever been written. Clinton supporters are like Buffy fen and Obama supporters are like Browncoats! And they both suck. I KID YOU, WHEDON FANDOM. I KID YOU.

Don't you love how I totally broke my promise not to blog about the election anymore? In less than 24 hours?

My Debbie downer reaction when I read that post? AND THEY BOTH SUCKED, AND BOTH SETS OF FANS GOT VERY UPSET WHEN THEY WERE CANCELLED BEFORE THEIR TIME. THIS IS NOT A HAPPY ANALOGY, OKAY?

Oh God, I'm going to need medication to get me through to November.

Haha, you would. Except you forget that Buffy ran well past its time. And, also, it's a metaphor for crazy fans! So of course Whedon fans win that race. Unless you add in Harry Potter. Heh.

It was a good post! And you made a good post by...posting about it...!

But the metaphor doesn't work for me because I not only get turned off of Buffy by the fans, but I also want to smack Joss Whedon (through no fault of his own) because of his fans. I'm not ready to smack the Democratic Party, though. Yet.

I LOVE Buffy. But only very recently. I watch it to look long and hard at he sexiness that is Spike.
