I really have nothing to say about Gossip Girl this week. I enjoyed it, and the ending was much with the LULZ. I am, however, very much looking forward to next week. Scenes with Blair and Nate and Chuck! All together! Freaking FINALLY! And while we're under the cut, let me just say that I'm vaguely disappointed that Jenny's fall from power happened so quickly. Not that she wasn't annoying the crap out of me, but I expected it to take longer. That's always been Josh Schwartz's MO, right? Burn through too much story in too little time?

Also.

Replace "SEGFAULTS" (whatever those are) with "Politics," and this is SO TRUE.

Also, because this is a Top 5 that I really really really wanted to be asked...

	Indeed! It has been a long time coming. I guess the reason we haven't seen B/N/C mixing yet is for the payoff we'll be getting in 1.17, but I still say it was a mistake. And, hey, I really enjoyed your GG post! (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Glad you liked it! Whenever I hit "post entry" I am always blown away by how fucking long those things always are.

They haven't been mixing because they're all angry with each other, right? Hence Chuck's hilarious "I'm issue free" comment last week? But then they'll have to put aside their differences to save drunk!Serena.

ALSO I threw up The Islands' Arm's Way for you a couple days ago in my journal but then... I forgot to actually tell you about it. Oops.

Yeah, I guess, but the relationships between Blair, Chuck, and Nate were the focal point of "The Thin Line," and by the time that episode was over, they were totally screwed up an everything was up in the air and crazy. And then the show came back and completely ignored those relationships! Aside from the EYE CONTACT you mentioned, I feel like there's been a real lack of emotional continuity going into the second half of the season.

But then they'll have to put aside their differences to save drunk!Serena.

From the previews, I'm inferring that's supposed to be the payoff, but I think it would have been a lot better if there'd been a reflection of the continued tension between the three characters, especially between Nate/Chuck and Nate/Blair. That they didn't even have Nate turn around and see Blair at Butter was particularly weird to me. I just don't get it! Why would you diffuse or ignore all of your awesome tension for three whole episodes?

No, that's totally my fault. I just hopped over to your journal and I totally and completely missed that post. And the same thing happened with

mardia's Dan/Blair epic that we'd been talking about for so long. I have no idea how I keep missing posts! I swear my friends list is not that busy. But THANK YOU.

	this one and this one are currently taped on my door. I'm surprised this one didn't make your list. I've witnessed someone using this one in reference to Obama. wtf rosebud. you know what? I borrowed that movie once from the library. And I was all gonna watch it and stuff! Even though it's in black and white and old! With a guy named mr. kane even! And then what happpened? Then another friend of ours looked at the beginning and was like oh dude! It's this thing! Rosebud! I just saved you freaking 2 hours of boredom. Rosebud!
And then I was like >=( this movie was supposed to be a good classic!
